People who give testimonials are also knows as endorsers. Testimonials come in generally 2 forms: solicited and unsolicited. We have marked each testimonial with the type of testimonial it is. The words unsolicited and solicited are defined below.
Solicited: The person giving the testimonial has been compensated in one of a variety forms for providing us with a testimonial. What types of compensation are used when asking for a testimonial are defined under the section "Compensation For Receiving and Using a Testimonial" below.
Unsolicited: These are testimonials provided by a visitor/customer that willingly gave their testimonial with no compensation incentive to do so. Also, the testimonial was obtained with no compensation on our part. This also includes such requests as the check box request at our Help Desk when a person is asking a question. That person has the option of leaving a testimonial or not and this has no effect on the quality/quantity of our answer to their inquiry. Put another way: Testimonials are considered unsolicited when there is no offer of compensation for the giving of a testimonial.
The only form of compensation for a solicited testimonial comes in the form of free or reduced price product or information of value (sale value such as an ebook) to the person giving the testimonial. We realize that any form of compensation could lend the reader of such a compensated testimonial that the testimonial is in some way biased. We believe, however, that to the best of our knowledge any type of testimonial given is the honest opinion of the person providing the testimonial.
No person (endorser) giving a testimonial has been compensated for such testimonial in the form of affiliate commissions, referral fees, or any other forms of fees or transfer of any physical forms of monetary gain.
